PI Apparel brings together the fashion/apparel industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities offered by modern technology in the continuous improvement and streamlining of product lifecycles from cradle to grave.
Modern Meadow have invented a tissue engineering technique based on bioprinting, the 3D assembly of tissues driven by computer controlled processes. They are now using this technique to culture leather and meat without requiring the raising, slaughtering and transporting animals. They are now working with leading artists, designers and professional chefs to make early samples of cultured leather and meat of the highest quality.
PI Apparel will take place at One Great George Street, an award winning central London Conference venue. It is surrounded by many landmarks such as the houses of parliament, Westminster Abbey and one of London’s most ornamental parks, St James’s Park.
From the many fine traditionally decorated rooms to the purpose built theatres, every room and every hall has a story to tell. One Great George Street is at the very heart of the capitals culture and political life. It is renowned for its high quality of standards, service, ideal location and excellent transport links.
